I want to thank each and everyone of you in advance with all your kind help. I do not deal in this kind of item....but I would like to list these on eBay. First of all I do not know if they are permissible...if they are I would like to list them together as a lot, is that a wise thing??? Second, I don't know what kind of knives these are?? One is stamped Stainless Pakistan and the other is Imperial Prov RI. The imperial handle is some sort of plastic, I am thinking. Your help is greatly appreciated. my-ricky

Pixar's Tin Toy Miniature - any value?

Good day. see image here: Link I got this little guy, among other characters from other Pixar animations, during a staff sale at work. The only thing I know about them is that they were on sale in Japan. I've never seen those here in the US. They are tiny - the one on the photo is 2" tall. They are quite heavy for such little guys, but I don't know what type of metal was used to cast the image. Can anyone help me figure out for how much I could sell these guys? Thanks, Andre

Need some help on 1969 moon tape??

I have a 7" tape reel of the 1969 Walk on the Moon. This is an AUDIO tape only. My father taped it and passed it on when he died. I have never heard it and don't even know if the tape is any good. It's a 3M 7" reel - 3 3/4 speed - Only info I have is what my father wrote on the box. Taped while Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were actually walking on the moon and Mike Collins was in the command capsule. That is all I know. As you can tell from my e-bay pages, my expertise is in diecast models. I would like to know from someone knowledgeable about listing this item and approximately how much. Thank you in advance

Iron cross very old

First forgive the picture, it is only a scan. I got in my mom's button can today and ran across this. It has been in the can all my life so I am not sure how old it is or where it came from, but it is more than 60 years old. It is 1 and 1/2" long to the bottom of the shank and quite heavy for its size. No one in my family was ever in W.W. II and they immigrated from Germany late in the 1860's to avoid conscription. We looked on line to see something similar but so far no luck. It is just a curiosity. The shank is rounded and smooth--not a screw type thing. Any thoughts? Thanks, George and Jen (yupperlake)

Russian Orthodox Fraternity HONOR Icon??? 1903 HELP!

I believe this is Russian Orthodox, possibly Byzantine, but I have no idea what it reads. It appears to be some type honor medal and the bottom fringe is actually made of tightly coiled wire. Maybe from a fraternal organization like the Catholics have the Knights of Columbus?? The date reads: OCH. 15 MAPTA 1903 WICK HAWEN, PA (there is now a Wick Haven, PA) The icon has a metal backing and then a hard plastic cover over the photo. So does anyone have any idea what this may be or what is say? Thanks for any help, and if I posted this in the wrong place I am sorry. Susan

1 Old Basket and 1 Newer One - Please help

I purchased the first basket at an auction that had many antique items. This basket had been marked "old" by the owner. It is about 5 1/2 inches high and about 8 x 10 on the top rim. As you can see, it is a bit out of shape. The second one I purchased from some antique dealers. They didn't know anything about it. It is about 15 1/2 inches in diameter and 3 inches high. Could it possibly be Native American? Thanks for any help.

Can Anyone ID this Wood Carving Figurine Statue?

Hi, this appears to be very old, don't know if it could be an antique. The old woman is hold a basket of fish and a bag or canteen, she is wearing a shawl. Also there are shiny green teeny tiny crystals one on a fish and two in the shoulder area (these may have been embedded later and not when carved). Stands approx. 6.5 inches tall. No markings that I can find. A bit on the heavy side for its size, very solid. Looks to be one piece of wood. Thanks for any info.

How to list and handle a large number of Historical Papers

Try this again, sorry. Have several questions that I would like opinions on in regards to listing these items. We have picked up the archives from a landmark newstand that is no longer in business, these have been in storage for many years, the last being items stored around 1995. They tended to archive newsmaker headlines for future framing and use. We probably have at least 1000 newspapers and about the same number of magazines. My questions and what I wanted opinions on are what might be the best way to List these. I have debated on listing them in Collectibles>Paper>Newspapers and then in the listings, linking the customer to that category in our eBay store to view them all if that is something of interest. The other thought was to list them in a category which they pertain to, ie.. Sports, Politics, War etc.. But to do this, I would not be able to direct someone back to a single category to view all that we do have. We have just started picturing and recording these into inventory, so if a better idea was thought of or suggested, we could adjust this before we got too far into listing them. This is what I have done currently, notice I provide a link back to our eBay store for the Newspapers or Magazines. 300329198130 The other opinion I was seeking on what might be the best way of packaging these for shipping, are there newspaper sized plastic sleeves or something available from ULINE or elsewhere to place them in? Is this economical to do for the value which they might bring? Of does someone have another method used for shipping that they would suggest. TIA for any suggestions and information in regards to this. Art SC-Liquidations

Help with a large stamp collection.

I recently acquired a very large stamp collection through an auction. There are two very large books full of international stamps, mostly older ones. I am now in the process of listing what countries I have stamps of, but I will not be able to list each individual stamp from each country as there are too many. What would be the best way to list these? Should I sell the it as a whole or break it up? I would think selling it as a whole would be more profitable. I am unsure though how to list each and every stamp and their condition because there are thousands. I want to provide as many pictures as I can but will not be able to take pictures of each and every stamp as well. This is quite confusing for me as I have never dealt with stamps before and know absolutely nothing about them. Please help! Thank you. So far this is the list I have, and this is only from one of the books. I am only on the F's! There is still another book, filled with twice as many stamps. Abyssinia Afrique Equatoriale Francaise Afrique Occidentale Francaise Albania Algeria Angola Argentina Australia Austria Belgian Congo Belgium Berlin Bolivia Brazil Bulgaria Cameroons Canada Cape Verde Ceylon Chile China Colombia Comoro Isl. Congo (Belgian) Costa Rica Crete Croatia Cuba Cyprus Czechoslovakia Denmark Deutsches Reich Dominican Republic East Africa and Uganda Ecuador Eesti Egypt Eire Epirus Espana Estonia Ethiopia Fezzen Finland Formosa I hope this was a good investment. I bought the collection for $60.
