PRE-SELL LISTINGS - When and Why to Buy?

If you are like most sportscard collectors and love the "rush" of buying boxes and breaking open packs, as opposed to purchasing individual cards, then be sure to invest wisely in these loaded hobby boxes as "PRE-SELL" before they go live and prices are sure to go through the roof!!! For those of you that are not familiar with "PRE-SELL" hobby box listings, this is when you purchase a product before its release date and before local hobby stores can put them on the shelves for public sale. This is typically when the best/lowest prices are available to buyers and are significantly raised when the product goes live. The typical process is paying for the box(es) sometimes 2-3 months ahead of the release date with the seller promising to ship out item(s) within 1-2 days of this release date. You can find all sports' hobby box release dates for free on Beckett's website. If you are new on okay and/or looking to buy and sell sportscards online, I highly regemend buying Basketball or any other sportscards as Pre-Sell Hobby Boxes and selling the individual cards opened out of these packs. This is my preferred way of getting the most "bang for my buck". Although there are never any guarantees, I have found a lot more success in this strategy as opposed to buying individual cards low and turning around and selling them online for higher. Ever wonder how some of these okay PowerSellers and other successful sellers get these great cards that sell for huge money? Well, this is how they do it. Think about it...you buy a Pre-Sell hobby box for $50-$100 and turnaround and sell a Hot Rookie Auto or Game-Used Card that you've ripped out of a wax pack...your investment will have just paid for itself!!! Even if you don't pull out one of these "Gem" finds, you should be able to earn more than your money back by getting to the market early and being one of the first to sell these sportscards on okay.On the other hand, if you are more looking for a specific rookie or card to add to your collection, then buying Pre-Sell Hobby Boxes may not be the best strategy for you. You might just want to try your luck at "sniping" one of these through a seller's listing instead. One more note - Please make sure that you are indeed buying a "HOBBY" Box, as opposed to a "RETAIL" box. These are two significantly different things, for their odds (and sometimes number of cards per pack) are different. This is because the card manufacturer has a different insertion rate (i.e. ratio of insert/ungemon cards to wax pack). The odds are much more favorable with Hobby Boxes. If a seller's listing doesn't state "Hobby" in their description, then it is most likely a retail box, but simply ask the seller to make sure. Experienced sellers know better than to make this potentially serious mistake and NOT state this in their listings, but in the rare case that they have simply forgotten to, then this would be one of the best items to bid on or watch because other buyers typically include the word "hobby" in their searches and in this case, the seller's listing would not show up.Thanks for taking the time to read my guide and I
hope this has helped. If it has, please vote"Yes" below to let
everyone else know and feel free to contact me with any questions and most importantly...HAVE FUN COLLECTING!!!!!!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
