How to Become a Power Seller in 3 months

I have begee a Power Seller in 3 months of serious selling, and here's how you can too. I will show you my mistakes so you wont make them!!
There are a few steps you need to have gepleted before you begin your push toward power seller status:
1) No matter what you are selling, make sure you have enough of it to sustain $1000 a month in sales for 3 months. You don't want to be waiting on inventory at a crucial time. I didn't think I was going to make my 1st month because I was waiting on inventory the last week. Luckily I squeeked by.
2) Make sur you have over 200 items to sell. At the time I wrote this, my feedback was 306, and sadly I have over 100 feedbacks that I feel I will never receive since they are over 30 days outstanding. A large portion of these I have sent feedback too right at payment. Now I make everything automatic, when I get feedback, my store automatically leaves feedback. This way if I don't get I don't give and feel cheated either. Sad to believe but even red star and shooting star people "forget" to leave feedback sometimes.
3) Take advantage of okay stores. Use a store to familiarize people with your listings, and give them an alternative way to shop.
Tips and Tricks
I know big dollar purchases are exciting, but gebining a whole lot of items for the big payoff sometimes doesn't pay off. Get established 1st. Appeal to the masses. The higher the price of an item, the lower the customer base is. You want a large customer base until you get to your required 100 feedbacks. Then you can look for the big dollar sales. Besides, a high dollar sale is more likely to get you what you want after you are a power seller. Being a power seller is a form of trust for the okay shopper!!
Ship safe and fast. Have an established way that you are going to ship items before you list them. Whether giving them to your carrier, setting up a UPS account or any other method. Pack and wrap items properly. Insure safe delivery. I always use this one motto for everything I do. Sell items the way I want to buy them!!
List accurately and honestly. Let people receive exactly what you describe, even down to the flaws. No suprises. I have a certain group of sellers on okay that I buy from, because I don't like suprises. If I buy something, thats what I want. I don't want to open a box or envelope and say What the ____ is this! Wow this seller really tricked me. I wont buy from him/her anymore.
Don't be self-righteous!! If a customer has a geplain, fix it the way you want it fixed if it was you with the geplaint! Refund, send another or any other way necessary according to your refund policy.
Take proof of delivery on every package. When a customer asks where an item is, you can check on it. I try and use paypal as much as possible for my shipping, because they have an easy look-up and a discounted rate for POD.
Good Luck and Good Selling
